Boots haul!

Hiya peeps!

I did a Boots haul last weekend and thought id share it with you :) I absolutely love that store, its got to be one of my faves.
I love high street branded make-up just as much as the premium if I'm honest. I have many make-up staples that are high street/drugstore brands. I have really found that over the last few years the gap between high street/drugstore make-up and premium brands is definitely getting smaller!
My favourite high street brand is most definately Rimmel, I tend to buy lots of their products. As for high end/premium it has to be Mac, and Estee Lauder. I can't wait to do a MAC haul this weekend as I'm going to Cardiff and thats my nearest store. So excited!

But for now heres last weekends beauty haul.

Sanctuary Luxury Bath Soak with mini Spa set
If you spent £10 or more on Sanctuary products you had a free Spa set. Happy days :) Will probably use the mini's for travel or my gym bag.  Love the Sanctuary range. I used to be a Soap & Glory girl but I seem to have moved away from that brand onto this one.

Loreal Elvive Fibrology Thickening Range
This is another new range that Loreal have brought out. My hair is quite fine so any product that states it will thicken it is always one to be tried for me! All the items in this new range were on offer 3 for £10 so I got the shampoo, conditioner and texturising hair masque.
I have already used the shampoo & conditioner once but I can't say I saw any difference in the thickness. My hair did feel a bit dry after it though mmm. Not sure if thats because I've been using their no sulphate shampoo (which I love) but I will preserver a bit longer and keep you posted!

Batiste XXL Volume range
See, im a sucker for anything that will make me have big hair! A new range by Batiste is the XXL dry shampoo ad plumping powder. Ive not tried either yet but am very eager to. I shall be using the plumping powder this week, so will keep you posted. Both items were on offer buy one get one half price.

Botanics resorting cream body wash

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation and Concealer Colour: True Ivory
My absolute fave foundation for everyday wear. I love how it gives me a good coverage with a dewy finish and isn't too oily on my skin. The concealer is great for hiding blemishes, under eye circles and blemishes. A must for your everyday makeup bag.

Revlon Lip Butter Colour:
Ive heard lots of good things about this product so I thought id give it a go. Its really lovely on your lips as it makes them feel and look plump, smooth and moisturised. I will definately be trying a few more colours :)

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Colour: Permanent Taupe
Id see another blog talk about these cream eyeshadows and so wanted to try them. Id heard they were similar to MAC but after trying both I'm not convinced. I use MAC Painterly Pot on a daily basis which is long wearing and a great base if wanting to use other shadows. I found with this one after a few hours it seemed to fade and eventually by the end of my day it had vanished :/ I won't be trying anymore and will be sticking to MAC.

Maybelline The Falsies Volume Mascara
Ive saved the best for last! This is my all time favourite mascara, and this is my 3rd re-purchase since first trying it. No other mascara that I've tried gives me the volume, deep black colour and length like this one. At £7.99 its a winner! I love it!

So thats my Boots haul. My advantage card points are building up lovely ha!

  1. I love a good Boots haul! I am so jealous that you're going to MAC, if only we could have our own store here in Swansea!

  2. I'm always in Boots, soon as I get my clubcard statement and some vouchers I am off... I found the Rimmel foundation made me look orange annoyingly.

Thanks for taking time to comment and thanks for reading xoxo
